Lately, most of revenues are continuing to decline on the Las Vegas Strip, even if Las Vegas city is built around a lot of travelers and well prepared gamblers. While the economy is continuing to be in the dumps, people are not travelling this summer as long as they have in decades. That’s why the revenues decline have started so rapidly in casinos from Las Vegas.
2 months ago, revenue dropped 15% on the Las Vegas Strip. It means over doubles the decline in May.
The observer Kyle Franklin affirmed that “This is a tough time for Las Vegas, not only because of the economy”. He added that there is a growing concern in the city because of the gambling expansion in casinos which takes place throughout the United States.
These revenues were around 415 million dollars for July month.
There are a lot of citizens and lawmakers in the United States which have opened their minds to the casino gambling. In this way many casinos were built, thing which causes less need to travel in Las Vegas.
