Jeffrey Pollack, president of Interactive Entertainment and Harrah’s World Series of Poker, said that the agreement was necessary because it is a way to ensure events because the content will continue to reach sports fans worldwide.

Doug White, program director of ESPN said they are very excited because the relationship can continue with Harrah’s to provide the most prestigious games in the world.
ESPN began broadcasting the WSOP event in 2003 and we are still running by the end of the agreement which expires in 2010.

ESPN coverage of the 40th annual World Series of Poker Presented by Beef Jerky Jack Links airs every Tuesday night on ESPN. The game starts tonight at 8 pm with a tournament No Limit Hold’em Main Event 6494 players will participate and will compete for 61 million U.S. dollars in prize money .
